Denny Huynh
PhD Candidate
Duke University
I am a PhD candidate in Behavioral Marketing at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
My primary research stream is about accessible impression management and signaling. From salespeople to consumers, having on the more novel and expensive products (e.g., luxury or latest trends) is a tried-and-true way to stand out and impress others, but are there less costly ways to make an impression? My research identifies more accessible strategies for making better impressions.
Before attending Duke, I worked as a Nielsen consultant for The Coca-Cola Company. I supported brand management, customer insights, and product launches for Coke (Share-a-Coke), Diet Coke (slim can design), and Sprite (Lymonade flavor). I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
I am on the 2024-2025 marketing job market.
